In our current update, Jack and Joanne showcase some pretty amazing places, people and sights.
Surrounded by colorful New England trees, Strawberry Rhubarb pie, and the last of a good bottle of wine. Slept like a log, fast fwd to 3 a.m. “Jack, Jack wake up.” “What is it dear?” “Its windy out there.” I can hear the wind in the trees, “Yea so? We’re secure.” “But my flower! It might get damaged” “Oh #@#!$& Are you serious?” Long silence, huff, puff outta bed, find my shoes, stumble out in my undies to save the sunflower…..some things huh? — at Shawme-Crowell State Forest.
Welcome to Cape Caaad.. — at Chatham Bars Inn.
“You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” almost life sized, Joanne just took it out of the box, and is stoked!
Jack takes this great snap to prove how much he loves boats; not a bad pic either!
Stealth camping…surrounded by historic buildings in the richest whaling port in the world, following an awesome visit to the whaling museum, (and a few beers) we were reluctant to leave. Put up the black out curtains and spent the night… New Bedford MA — at New Bedford Whaling Museum.
Rhode Island may be small, but the boats and waterfront homes are not! 140′ classic yacht being hauled for (expensive) maintenance. — with Michael J Homer at Newport Waterfront.
Joanne and “The Mayor” try to affix the tiny stamp of Rhode Island. A place we came to love very quickly. Michael is born and raised in Newport, he gave us an incredible tour.
Highly recommend Mystic? — at Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea
In Amish country, raining straight down, under the awning. Bottle of white and good tunes to contemplate or next move… — at Amish Valley.
